1. If necessary, clear your cache before logging in to your BYU-Idaho account, log in to your account from a browser you have not used recently, or use the incognito mode.
2. Log in to your BYU-Idaho account.
3. From the 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) window, click My Settings & Devices.
4. Authenticate in order to change your settings by clicking Send Me a Push. Respond to the notification on your mobile device.
5. You’ll be taken to a window displaying all devices that you currently have enrolled in Duo. Click Add a new device underneath the list of currently enrolled devices.
6. Follow the steps found in How to Set Up 2-Factor Authentication (for New Employees), How to Set Up 2-Factor Authentication Using a Phone Call (for New Employees), or How to Set Up 2-Factor Authentication Using a Text Message (for New Employees) to enroll your new device in Duo.
If the only device you currently have enrolled is the one you want to delete, you’ll need to add another before you can delete your current device. For more information about enrolling devices in Duo, read our article Managing Devices in Duo Mobile.

4. Authenticate in order to change your settings by clicking Send Me a Push. Respond to the notification on your mobile device.
5. You’ll be taken to a window displaying all devices that you currently have enrolled in Duo. Find the device you want to delete and click the Device Options next to it.
6. From the drop-down menu that appears, click the red trash can icon.
7. You’ll be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the authentication device. Confirm the deletion to complete the process by clicking Remove.

5. You’ll be taken to a window displaying all devices that you currently have enrolled in Duo. You’ll also see two drop-down menus: Default Device and When I log in: Use the Default Device drop-down menu to choose which enrolled device you’d like to use as your default. Then click Back to Login.
6. You will be taken back to the Duo screen that you will see when you log in. Click the box next to Remember me for 30 days, then click Send Me a Push.
If the device you want to use as your default has not been enrolled yet, click Add another device, and then follow the instructions found in How to Set Up 2-Factor Authentication for New Employees, How to Set Up 2-Factor Authentication Using a Phone Call (for New Employees), and How to Set Up 2-Factor Authentication Using a Text Message (for New Employees) to enroll your new device in Duo.
