This article will explain how to use the tool that converts MapleTA CSV files to correctly formatted Canvas CSV files.
- If you have not yet exported your CSV files from MapleTA, click on and follow the instructions in this article.
- If you have already exported your CSV files from MapleTA, click on this link to take you to the converter tool.
Instructions
Once you have successfully downloaded the MapleTA CSV files that you are wanting to convert, you will need to either:
- Click the CHOOSE FILES button and select the files to be converted.
OR
- Drag and drop the files from the folder where they are located to the converter tool page.
Choose Files Option
Click on the CHOOSE FILES button.
Navigate to where the downloaded files are located and choose the files you wish to upload.
Accepted and Invalid Files
If the files are correctly formatted, they will appear under the section of the page titled "MapleTA CSV Files".
If the files are not correctly formatted, they will appear below the accepted CSV files in a section titled "Invalid Files". If you have a file that is invalid, check to make sure you selected the correct one. If you have selected the correct file and it is invalid, make sure that the file is properly formatted with the correct headers. You may be required to to export the file again from MapleTA. If that is the case, please return to the top of this article and click on the link that will take you to the MapleTA export instructions ensuring that you are selecting the correct information to be exported.
Converting the Files
Once you have your file(s) ready for conversion, click the CONVERT button.
On the next page click the DOWNLOAD button.
Upon clicking the DOWNLOAD button, you will be taken back to the main page. A ZIP file will be downloaded containing the files that have been converted. These are the files that will be imported into Canvas.
Importing Converted Files into Canvas
