Why am I not Authorized to Send Email?

For security purposes, quizzes will lock down the email system while a quiz/exam is in session. If a student begins a quiz, then navigates away from it without submitting the quiz, the next time they try to email they will receive a message that says Error: Not Authorized. To address this problem follow the steps below.

Error Message

This is the error message you receive if you are trying to access your email while a quiz is currently incomplete.



1. Select the email icon at the top of your screen.

2. Click on the quiz listed as incomplete.

1. Notice the quiz is still In Progress.

2. Click Continue Quiz then complete and/or submit the quiz attempt.
