How to Copy a Schedule

Updated Jul 16, 2019

To create new shifts in TrackSmart, start by going to the TrackSmart web page. It will first open up to Your Dashboard, which will look like this:

In the upper right corner, there is a button that says "Schedule." Click on that option.

Once you are at your schedule, make sure the drop down bar in the upper left corner has your departments name in it, otherwise you will see all shifts for the BSC.

Once you have created a weeks worth of shifts in TrackSmart, you now have to create them for the rest of the semester, session, etc. Instead of having to create each shift individually, you can "copy" the schedule. Click the arrow buttons in the upper right corner to move to the next week.

You will see an empty schedule for the new week. It will look like this:

Click on the option that says "Copy Schedule."

In the new dialogue box that opens up, make sure the drop down bar says "Previous Week" and that the option that says "Copy Shifts and scheduled employees" is selected.

Now, your new weeks schedule should look the same for the previous one. Repeat these steps for the rest of the semester, session, etc.

If you need to edit just a few employee shifts, once you have them fixed in one week, go to the next week and select "Clear Schedule."

This will delete the shifts for that week. Then, instead of having to edit each employees shift individually, you can follow the steps above to copy the new schedule into the following weeks.
